Pretreatment & Filtration
Sediment, media, cartridge and application-specific pretreatment selected according to source-water conditions and downstream process requirements.
Treatment technology
BlueLiter does not assume that every water source requires the same seven-stage system. Technology is selected around source conditions, target quality, demand, site constraints, lifecycle cost and the requirements of the operating market.
Sediment, media, cartridge and application-specific pretreatment selected according to source-water conditions and downstream process requirements.
Reverse-osmosis and other membrane pathways can be configured where feed-water chemistry, recovery targets and operating conditions support them.
Activated carbon, softening, remineralization, pH adjustment and other finishing steps can be selected around the target water specification.
UV, ozone, chemical or other validated disinfection methods are selected according to application, local requirements and the treatment train.
Tanks, pumps, hygienic distribution, refill, packaging or delivery interfaces are defined as part of the operating system—not assumed as one standard design.
Monitoring, alarms, instrumentation and automation can be included where the contracted system requires them. Specific digital features are confirmed in project scope.
Water-reuse and recovery concepts can be evaluated where source quality, end use, economics and applicable regulations make them appropriate.
Higher-salinity source water can be evaluated for membrane or desalination treatment through project-specific engineering and qualified technology providers.
Selection method
01
Use real sampling, chemistry, microbial and operating data appropriate to the project.
02
Set the required water specification according to end use and applicable rules.
03
Choose unit operations based on the source-to-target gap rather than a fixed universal sequence.
04
Establish monitoring, maintenance, consumables, testing and response requirements.
Exact membrane selection, recovery, pressure, dosage, disinfection validation, equipment ratings, certifications, sanitary design and regulatory compliance depend on the actual source water, target specification, equipment vendor and jurisdiction. Those details belong in the project scope and technical documentation.
